Meet the EXCO Members
A hardworking and energetic journalist with a strong newspaper copy editing background with over fifteen years full-time working experience investigating, writing and editing stories. Zaggi, a strong analyst of health policies and national issues is the current Health/Crime Editor of The AUTHORITY newspapers. He has worked at several media organizations in Nigeria including Nigeria Newsday, Nigeria Sunrise, Daily Independent and was once the Editor, Health Talk magazine, a magazine that deals exclusively with health related issues.
Aisha Uba Ali is a Mass Communication graduate from Bayero University Kano, Kano State, she is a wife and mother of two. Her work experience started with NTA Kafanchan, Kaduna State where she offered voluntary services between 2007/2008 and was later absorbed as a Reporter in NTA in 2009 . She is a presenter and producer of a program on NTA called 'You and your reps', she covers issues around women and children but primarily covers the health beat.
She is a reporter and heads the Health Desk, at Voice of Nigeria (VON), Abuja. Her hobbies include, taking pictures, making people happy and browsing Social Media. She is very passionate about her job and enjoys reporting health related matters.
Toyin is a dedicated professional with over a decade experience in covering news and current events. Her background lies in gathering and analyzing facts about newsworthy events through stories, features, interview, investigation, and observation. Her reports have featured in many National Dailies and currently with INDEPENDENT Newspaper. Toyin holds a BA Ed in English Education, a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, National Association of Women Journalist, Treasurer, Association of Health Journalists. She is married with kids.
Nike works as a health reporter for Premium Times Online. She is a graduate of English and Literary English from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti. She also has an OND in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger state. Nike is rather passionate about her profession, as such, she enjoys writing, particularly human angle stories. She loves to share people’s experiences and also learn from them.
Regina Otokpa is a reporter with New Telegraph Newspaper. She is a development journalist, an expert in education and health matters. Regina has a passion for the welfare of human beings especially children. She is a writer and loves travelling.
Prudence Eboagwu-Ijah is an award winning excellence driven Journalist and Development Communicator who has carved a niche for herself in health reporting. She has over a decade's worth of practical experience in journalism, both radio and online media. She presently works with Regent Africa Media and is the Public Relations Officer of ANHEJ.
Emmanuel is a Health Reporter for Radio Nigeria where he has been working since 2011. He hails from Niger State and is happily married, his union is blessed with a child.
